Sounds like you're doing well, mugglezor. Some of the children that take swimming lessons where I work speak French (born here, but parents are from France). When I met them, they reminded me of you & TBWL. Solely because of their French-ness, but still, it's something.

I am a sales man for a french company producing and selling Diagnostic tools to medical laboratories and hospitals. Back from the States, I gave up on research because there is not much opening for that in France. I know: my wife is still in the party and even if she writes 3 articles every 2 years, with two third of them as first author, she is struggeling to find a stable position.

Have you seen the Harry Potter exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry yet? I've been dying to see it when I come home for the summer.

Wow...but didn't we all used to be little?

I'm almost done with my third year of college, looking on to vet school! I'm starting work on my Honors Thesis paper on the collective behavior of ant colonies regarding midden piles, specifically how it relates to self-imposed rules that allow social insects to act as a whole, superorganism when there's not actually any communication regarding social roles.

Well, I'm currently living in Chicago, married, one son (17 months old)... out of college, more schooling is on hold for now until the baby gets a bit older.

I really spend half my time in shock at how quickly the time has passed; it's really amazing to see how far we've all come from the old TBWL days! Claire - it's amazing to hear that you're writing! And really... that comment about Padfoot made me think, I wonder where he's disappeared to!

I just finished my last final! And my school had a shooting threat (or at least, a threatening note) -- probably because someone was spazzing about their final exams and hoped they'd get postponed a few days. Lame!

I'm still trying to take over the world ... oh wait, no, that's not true. :0)

I'm working on my fourth book at the moment. I also feel quite traitorous to TBWL as I have a whole new site going on and have just launched a Jane Austen Book Club, Jane Austen January, on it (it starts Jan 1st). I cannot believe I have been doing online communities, from the original Claire's Cabin, then TBWL and now PD&P for TEN YEARS!!!

I'm currently halfway through my 3rd year at my University and getting ready for our final exams next week.
